Who We Are
Slova.tech is a commercial trademark of Carusel Multimedia SRL (CUI: 30455888, VAT: RO30455888, Reg: J40/8406/2012), with its registered office at Calea Văcărești 336, Bl. 10D, Sc. 1, Et. 7, Ap. 23, Sector 4, 040068 Bucharest, Romania, is the controller of the personal data described below. You can reach us about your data at contact@slova.tech or through the contact form.
What We Collect and Why
When you write to us. The contact form sends us your name, e-mail address, the store address if you give it, the topic and your message. We use them only to answer you and to follow up on what you asked. To keep automated spam out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser for signs of automation without setting cookies. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us, or steps you request before buying (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and (b)).
When you buy a module. Payment is handled by Stripe, acting as merchant of record: your card details go to Stripe and never reach us. From Stripe we receive your name, e-mail address, the store domain you enter at checkout, the module bought, the amount and the payment references. We use them to issue your license key, e-mail it with the download link, provide support and updates, remind you by e-mail 30, 7 and 2 days before your updates end, send you your licenses when you ask for them on My licenses, process refunds and keep the records the law requires. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
When you browse. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you: it records the page you open, the site you came from, your browser, device type and country, and how fast the page loaded, and nothing that follows you from one site to another. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Apart from these analytics and Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form, the site loads no third-party scripts, fonts or images. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, and may set cookies strictly necessary for that security. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used and keeping it fast and secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who Processes Your Data
We share personal data only with the providers that run the service for us:
- Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. and its affiliates): payment, VAT, receipts and invoices, as merchant of record under its own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting of the site, storage of license records, visit statistics (Web Analytics) and the contact form’s spam check (Turnstile).
- Postmark (ActiveCampaign, LLC): delivery of our e-mails, including license e-mails and contact form messages.
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
How Long We Keep It
- Contact messages: as long as needed to answer and follow up, and no longer than 2 years after our last exchange.
- License records: for as long as the license exists, so that we can verify downloads, updates and support, and afterwards for the periods required by Romanian accounting and tax law.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@slova.tech or through the contact form; we answer within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro, or with the authority in your own EU country.
Changes
We may update this policy when the way we process data changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
